Hello! I’m Kevin McCarthy, the founder of Senior Tennis TIPS and a former USPTA tennis pro in my youth. I started Senior Tennis TIPS because the needs and accommodations of the senior tennis player are largely ignored by the tennis community. Here I created something special for senior tennis players by senior tennis players so we could gain an advantage and improve with age.
Throughout the day I administer and moderate the Senior Tennis TIPS community. In addition, there is a small team of other over-qualified moderators who assist.

As a junior I was ranked #10 in the Boys 18, Middle States. I played my high school tennis at Shady Side Academy (1973) and my college tennis at Lehigh University (1977). In the Men’s 35s, I was ranked #21 in the Florida USTA district and played in the Men’s National Grass Courts and Clay Court tournaments (1989).
